Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is data that we specifically and indirectly associate with you as an individual, which we collect and process in order to fulfil a contract or contact an individual and to fulfil legal obligations..
Use and retention of collected personal data
With the collected personal data, we can inform customers of product news, campaigns and upcoming events. A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list or receive notifications can opt out of the group of recipients at any time.
We may also use the collected personal data for the delivery of goods and the fulfilment of obligations to the customer.
In order to better serve the customer, we may disclose information about individual users to a third party who provides services to us and is contractually obliged to keep the information shared confidential. A third party is, for example, our partner who is responsible for editing content or providing translation services.
We retain the customer’s personal data until the termination of the loyalty agreement. The data that we are obliged to keep pursuant to legislation (e.g. accounting data) is retained in accordance with the requirements provided by legislation.
Protection of personal data
We take all precautions (incl. administrative, technical and physical measures) to protect the customer’s personal data. Only authorised persons have access to change and process the data.
The customer has the right to demand the termination of the processing of their data, information on the use of the data and the transfer of the data to themselves or a third party in a commonly used format. To prevent misuse of customer data and rights, applications may only be submitted in a form in which the applicant’s identity can be identified (digitally signed or personally signed at the office). We have the right to respond to such requests within 30 calendar days.
We treat the request for termination of data processing as a statement of termination of the loyalty agreement.
All personal data of the customer that has become known during the visit to the website and the conclusion of contracts will be treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel ensures the security of the personal data of the person visiting the website.
You always have the right to apply to the Data Protection Inspectorate or a court to protect your data. The Data Protection Inspectorate is a state agency that can also be contacted for consultation or assistance on personal data protection issues.
